Hello I’m Meredith O'Brien, LCSW

Meredith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey. 

Meredith received her Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University in 2006 and received her Master of Science with a concentration in counseling from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in 2000. Meredith has an advanced training certificate in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She is an anti-diet and Health at Every Size (HAES)- aligned therapist and a Carolyn Costin Institute (CCI) certified eating disorder coach and a certified Intuitive Eating counselor. 

Meredith specializes in mental health services, more specifically the areas of depressionanxiety, addictions, eating disorderschronic suicidal ideationself-harmfamily conflict, emotional dysregulation and life transitions. Meredith uses Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Oriented Therapy, Trauma-informed, Compassionate Therapy and Mindfulness-based treatments in her practice. Dialectical Behavior Therapy is a skills-based treatment focusing on mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness and walking the middle path. 

Fully recovered from her own eating disorder, Meredith specializes in supporting those on their own eating disorder recovery journey and treats those with anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating disorder, and exercise compulsion. Meredith uses Carolyn Costin’s 8 Keys to Recover from an Eating Disorder, with her clients and uses the intuitive eating philosophy to help her clients to create a healthy relationship with food. She helps to guide her clients to reject the diet mentality, tune into their inner signals and accept themselves.

Meredith has over sixteen years of experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults with varying degrees of mental health. Currently, Meredith operates her private practice in Red Bank, NJ where she provides individualfamily and group counseling for teenagers and adults. She also operates a coaching business, Recovery from Anorexia, LLC, to support those in eating disorder recovery.

Past experience includes working as a Therapist at Booker Behavioral Health at Riverview Medical Center in the Alcohol Related Services Department in Shrewsbury, NJ; Outpatient Therapist at CPC Behavioral Healthcare in Freehold, NJ; Program Coordinator of the Children’s Mobile Response and Stabilization Program at CPC Behavioral Healthcare in Red Bank, NJ and Admissions Director and Social Worker at a special education school providing services for children with emotional disturbances in Norwalk, CT.

Hello I’m Jessica Lupon, LPC (Affiliate Clinician)

Jessica Lupon is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of New Jersey. She received her Masters Degree in Professional Counseling from Seton Hall University in 2010.

Jessica’s goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which you can work together to explore your thoughts and feelings in order to improve your quality of life and mental health. Jessica has experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She utilizes a strength based, client centered approach while integrating cognitive behavioral (CBT) and dialectical behavioral skills (DBT). Jessica specializes in the areas of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, anger management, stress management, self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, family conflict, life transitions, crisis intervention, dual diagnosis and substance abuse.

Jessica has eight years of experience working as a clinician within Monmouth County. Currently, Jessica is an Affiliate Clinician in the private practice of Meredith O’Brien, LCSW in Red Bank, New Jersey where she provides individual, family, and group therapy to adolescents and adults. Prior to private practice, Jessica has worked as a clinician at High Focus Centers in Freehold in the adult dual diagnosis intensive outpatient and partial care program. Jessica has also worked as the Director of clinical services at The Center for Vocational Rehabilitation (CVR). Jessica has experience working with adolescents from providing services at Daytop, a residential treatment facility for adolescents in Mendham NJ

Hello I’m Tatiana Grant, LPC, NCC (Affiliate Clinician)

Tatiana Grant is a licensed professional counselor in New Jersey and nationally board certified multiculturally competent therapist. Tatiana received her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in children and adolescents from Monmouth University in 2015.

Tatiana specializes in the areas of: anxiety, depression, anger management, emotional/behavioral dysregulation, self-esteem, self-care, school problems, ADHD and parenting skills. Tatiana’s theoretical framework are an eclectic mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Child Centered Play Therapy and Mindfulness techniques. Using an eclectic approach allows Tatiana to individualize her client’s treatment goals.

Tatiana has experience working with children, adolescents and families. She has experience in providing in-home services, community supports, outpatient,  school based services and intensive outpatient services. Tatiana also has experience presenting mental health materials to the community. Tatiana is proficient in Spanish.

Tatiana is a major advocate of self-care, when she is not counseling she enjoys reading, running and other forms of exercising. Tatiana is an Affiliate Clinician in the private practice of Meredith O’Brien, LCSW in Red Bank, NJ; where she provides individual and family services to children and adolescents. While children and adolescents are Tatiana’s passion she also has experience working with adults as well!

Hello I’m Ninette Tuerk, LCSW, LCADC (Affiliate Clinician)

Ninette specializes in the areas of addiction, dual diagnosis, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, anger management, stress managementself-esteem, interpersonal relationships, family conflict, and life transitions. Ninette has over 35 years experience working with individuals, couples, and families. She utilizes a strength based, person centered approach while integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Oriented Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Treatment, and Mindfulness Treatment.

Prior to joining our practice Ninette worked at Hackensack Meridian Health Behavioral Health: Jersey Shore University Medical Center, and Riverview Medical Center in the capacity of a Mental Health Specialist, Social Worker, and Clinical Department Manager.

Ninette offers a unique blend of therapeutic knowledge, practical common sense, humor, and a spiritual approach to life. She views each person as a unique individual who has the power within themselves to solve, and make lasting changes. The development of the trusting therapeutic relationship is key to the journey of change. Ninette believes and strives to provide a therapeutic relationship that is safe, non-judgmental, empathic, respectful, nurturing, and validating.
